Where do you Stand in 2013?

Do we know who we are and what we want? How can I improve and get more of what I want?

At times, we make the mistake of asking others these questions (above) rather than ourselves. No one will ever know how to truly answer these for us. We hold the key and the responsibility to seek the truth of our lives, no one else does. Whatever answer we receive from others will have a bias based on their likes, beliefs and experiences, not based on ours. We are all unique valuable individuals. By seeking the truth of our lives through others, we are yielding our space, our reality and purpose. We need to learn to seek within to find comfort, insight, drive, peace, direction and our voice. We need to know what moves us, what we care for the most.

I believe I know who I am and what I want. I know where I am and where I want to be. I understand the sacrifices I will need to make. I am ready for this now.

We all make our yearly wish list. Many seldom accomplish 20% of it. Others go mad and make a full page and seldom accomplish one. Most of us want to accomplish perfect health, financial independence, travel more, find love, build a happy family, gain popularity, and obtain wealth. These are in my list too, but I know that my biggest challenge is to learn the discipline to get all my goals and needs prioritized, commit to the sacrifices these entail, and pursue them without rest.

Effective immediately, I commit to do all the things that I know I must do and can accomplish. I will be realistic, but ambitious. I will no longer wait on Santa Claus. I know now that I have my life under control. There is nothing or nobody that can change my legacy or determine my fate; I am at the driver seat of my life. People must understand this.

I do care about how others affect my life and I try to act responsibly over those whose lives I affect, but I will never limit my pursuit for my happiness based on peoples’ beliefs of myself. It does not mean I don’t love people; it means that I have learned to love myself enough to start caring for ME for once in my lifetime. Remember that the stronger you are the more valuable and helpful you are to others.  

You need to look inside yourself and identify what moves you and what is meaningful to you. Discard excess baggage so that you have room for new good people and positive things in your life. Remember that to gain something you have never had you must do something you have never done.

Do not lay on others, because eventually they will let you fall. People will help until they can. You should never overload people with your problems, because they will eventually get fed up with your burden. People seek others to have a good time and talk; to have fun. Like in golf, when you play best-ball in a team of two (this is taking the best score of the two players per hole) you must win some holes to have been of value. If you do not, then your team loses and you will end up without a teammate. No one will ever want to play again with you until you practice to play better.  

Seek the livelihood that best fits you. Be adventurous and free!

Reflexión: A mis amigos, y nuevos por conocer, les pido que en este 2013 aprender a vivir a plenitud sus vidas, evitar conflictos y dejarle saber a quienes amas que lo haces con hechos y bondades. La vida es muy exigente para querer nosotros complicarla más.  Respeten el derecho ajeno y que Dios esté siempre presente en vuestros corazones y camino.

Un simple deseo

Como no desearles unas felices pascuas y prospero año nuevo a todo ser bueno. Pues claro que hare un simple deseo.....

Deseo:

....que Dios nos bendiga a todos y que la paz reine de nuevo en sus vidas y la tierra completa.

....que aprovechemos este momento para perdonar, pedir perdon y amar ilimitadamente.

.....nunca dejar de darle las gracias a Dios por la familia y amigos que tenemos, y dar al necesitado con amor nuestro regalo.

Sobre todo, le doy gracias a Dios por yo poder enviar este mensaje y un fuerte abrazo a todo aquel quien lea este mensaje. De verdad que lo envio con todo my afecto y buena fe.

Que Dios los bendiga a todos siempre.

Today Matters!

When kids we set dreams and fantasized of being forever happy and free. We dreamed of having a spouse and children with whom we would travel on vacation, camp, play, sing and have a fabulous time.

As we grew older things did not always go our way. As we became more independent dreams became tougher to reach, some seemed unreachable. We became disappointed and blamed fate for crushing our dreams, and with it, our souls. We lost faith, inspiration, we gave in.

Luckily, the warrior from within screams… “Nonsense!. The fight is on.”

This is just the beginning of our independent lives. Why give in when you are at the Comander's seat of your ship? It is all about choosing the course where you want to go. Not all routes are possible, but for sure you will identify one if you look harder and smarter.

Wanting to make a right towards the East and cruise the bayside sounds real fun and pleasant. Going left means having to go cross-country, and having to go through mountains. Who knows, maybe the view is mind blowing from up high. You may even touch the clouds. How cool is that!

Not everything in life is a choice. And sometimes, the choices we make are not the best ones. Where we are at now, where we want to be in the future, and how to get there is where we should focus our efforts and energy. Forget about the past. The past is DEAD! Move on!

Learn to be true to yourself, so that you can be true to others. Pretending to be someone else will only get you in trouble. You will live unhappily ever after if you hide your true self to others. You would be surprised how well people react to honesty and knowing that they are dealing with someone 100% transparent. Those that reject you never were your friends. Comprende?

Remember we attract those who have the same values that we treasure, just as we repel those that contract or simply have no values at all. 

Life is too complicated for us to dwell too much in the past.  Remember that TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF OUR LVES! SO LET US MAKE IT COUNT! Life is too short, so why wait?

An Awakening

A couple of weeks back I saw a beautiful sight, smelled the fresh ocean breeze and felt the sun touching my face in a day clear.

What a refreshing moment of peace. I opened my arms, closed my eyes and focused on the splash of the waves covering my feet and the fresh breeze dancing with my hair. I feel someone holding my hand making this a heavenly moment. All of a sudden, someone walks into my room, turning on the lights and I am awaken.

This dream has given me a new aspiration and hope. I pray to meet you soon.

This experience has been an awakening.

Jóvenes Profesionales!

Conozco a varios jóvenes profesionales emprendedores quienes considero destinados al éxito inevitable. Son jóvenes sanos, preparados y con ansias de lograr grandes obras.

El dinero es motivo importante, pero ser entes libres e independientes es lo que realmente define el alma de sus brillantes personalidades.

Cuando se es joven es cuando tenemos derecho a fallar, aprender y superar las dificultades. Somos seres humanos. El temor debe desaparecer. Hay que ser fuerte, firme and arriesgado. De lo contrario se pierden las oportunidades y la fe.

Cuando pasa el tiempo y nos alcanzan las canas, es tiempo perdido que no podremos recuperar. Invertir tiempo en capacitación y experimentar cosas nuevas es bueno aprovechar en la juventud. El tiempo no perdona. El tiempo castiga si no se aprovecha tempranamente. Hay que aprovechar el hoy para disfrutar y vivir mejor del mañana.

Yo he cometido muchas faltas a este razonamiento tardio y realmente me dolería ver a los amigos mios con grandes potenciales subutilizar sus habilidades y conocimientos.

Las pruebas que superas a lo largo de tu carrera te fortalecen y te hacen elevarte. Vuela cada vez mas alto para evitar las piedras que te lanzen los perdedores. Esto aplica para los negocios y hasta para la vida personal.

Mientras más preparado y decidido estés más libre serás. Vuela alto y no mires para abajo ni atras!

Fears?

Fears will make you run and hide. Fears will break your soul and make miserable. Fear to be you will never let you be happy and free. Fear being afraid and enjoying being yourself. 

Never put your dreams down, be the greatest at what you chose to do, be strong to overcome the challenges, be patient, be grateful to those that lend a hand and never stop doing what moves you to be the greater you.

It is hard to do something you are afraid of, but if that something is blocking you get to accomplish your goals you got no other than overcome it. The more you overcome, the easier it gets. Then it becomes a habit..... and then, you become fear-free. Congrats.

The worst fear is no being yourself, because someone will judge you and critic. No one owns anyone. Someone may have an economical dependence of someone, but yet that does not mean you are that other person's slave.  

We all need to be self assured of who we are, where we are at, and where we want to be. Always express you opinions and be sincere when doing so. When people are transparent and sincere, they are beautiful and amazing. Do not let others talk or do things for you. Stand your ground always. 

I am not saying jump off a plane using a parachute if you are afraid of heights. If you do not know how to swim, wear a floating jacket in a pool or beach.    

Be you, be true, be brave and achieve with valor what you deemed impossible. Good luck. 

El Reto Social

El Estado y sus instituciones apoderadas, el empresariado, los organismos cívicos y religiosos, fundaciones caritativas, entre otros, tienen una responsabilidad vital y obligatoria de fomentar valores y educación a la sociedad, la cual se dirige a un destino incierto y oscuro.

Existe actualmente una desigualdad social abismal entre la clase pudiente versus la clase incipiente, la cual crece en población y se convierte indigente.

El Estado y los Administradores de la Educación han dejado huérfana a esta población en crecimiento, negándole una educación competitiva, un sistema de asistencia médico atentivo y una canasta asequible.

Esta gran masa laboriosa cada vez más se desanima, ya que no se sienten dignos por el sufrimiento de la pobreza, la delincuencia y la impotencia de poder defenderse ante las carestías y los efectos de estas. Se pierde la esperanza, se olvidan los valores, la delincuencia se convierte en un modo de vida necesario. El Ser sufre un daño irreversible.

El Ser se vuelve indigente cuando no recibe educación que lo motive a progresar, pasa hambre y sufre desnutrición, no es formado en el hogar y es discriminado por su condición económica social por individuos más adinerados.

¿Cuál es el compromiso? No hay pacto social. Quizás nunca lo haya. Por ello debemos considerarnos huérfanos y enfocarnos a superar los obstáculos, las limitaciones y dejar de pasarnos la vida culpando a alguien por nuestra desdicha y falta de compromiso con nosotros mismos.

Las personas que no cumplen con sus tareas y estudios en la escuela, no respetan el hogar ni a sus padres, buscan pleitos en la calle, entre más defectos, son gente destinadas a ser anti-sociales y delincuentes. Están rotos (sin posibilidad a la recuperación) y condenados al fracaso.

El Estado ha tiene una gran oportunidad de establecer nuevas estrategias para recuperar la falta de identidad y orgullo que antes había en esta sociedad. Ser educador, enfermero, contable, electricista, chofer, entre muchos más, era honorable y las personas podían tener un estilo de vida decente. Esto ya no es así. Existen abogados y doctores haciendo la labor de taxis. Es decepcionante. Es una verguenza.

Debemos salirnos del sometimiento propio 'al Ser pobre'. Busca consejo de gente de éxito y no de los que juegan domino en las esquinas.

Nunca pierdas tu sueños de niño, estudia y sacrificate, ya que superarás a la larga a los vagos y a los cómodos. No serás motoconcho ni servicio a domicilio. Y si eliges la delicuencia morirás sin haber cumplidor meta alguna.

Hay que fajarse para conseguir becas si no se cuentan con los recursos propios. Hay que trabajar joven para poder conseguir los libros para la universidad o liceo, hay que estar enfocados a conquistar el mundo para no fallar. Si tropiezas es porque algo debias aprender antes de dar el siguiente paso. Pa'lante campeón(a)!

Muchos quisiéramos ser actores, cantantes, mega industriales, estadistas, gente poderosas e influyentes, entre otros. Quisiéramos ser aplaudidos, admirados y seguidos.

Nos ilusionamos con las visibles fortunas y éxitos de gente quienes consideramos las privilegiadas, y nos olvidamos de las cosas que realmente tiene valor. Una sonrisa, un abrazo, un beso, un gesto de afecto, etc., nos permite un sueño más placentero que al de una pastilla.

Los valores, virtudes y la moral nos definen quienes somos y nos dan fortaleza frente a las pruebas y tentaciones y forman nuestro carácter. La decencia, la bondad y la generosidad nos definen ante la humanidad.

¿Que queremos de la vida? En el fondo queremos ser correspondidos y amados incondicionalmente. No hay sentimiento más poderoso que amar y ser amado.

Cuando vemos las limosinas, el champán, las cámaras, la carpeta roja, los trajes y vestidos costosísimos de las estrellas, en fin, la fama, deseamos todo esto, aunque sea por un día. No conocemos a los protagonistas, pero nos sentimos atraídos a ellos por todo este glamour. Queremos ser tan felices como ellos, cuando aun ni siquiera conocemos su apodo o plato favorito.

Reconozco ser imperfecto, pero perfectamente hijo de Dios. Me siento en paz conmigo mismo ya que me amo a mi mismo y amo a aquellos que me rodean. Nadie puede señalarme por algo que el mismo no haya hecho. Hubo travesuras y aventuras, pero todo siempre bajo intenciones sanas.

No creo en intermediarios sin pecados, solo creo en Dios. Práctico el amor de Dios participando en obras carismáticas y ayudando como pueda. Es importante dar amor para ser amado. A los niños, ancianos, familiares, conocidos y completos extraños, a quien sea, muéstrale tu mejor sonrisa; muéstrales un ser humano y dales una esperanza. Seguro que alguien te lo recompensará, pero hazlo sin esperar algo a cambio.

Cuando nuestros padres envejecen es nuestro turno de cuidar de ellos. Dales un beso, un abrazo, un momento de felicidad, y jamás los maltrates. Están en su derecho de quejarse, como lo hacíamos como pequeños. Si no haces esto, tu vejez pudiera ser similar o peor.

Trata a los demás como quieres ser tratado y aléjate de los pedantes. La ley de la Naturaleza dice que todos conocemos el bien y el mal. Sabemos que si hacemos el mal, tarde o temprano, tendremos que pagar el precio por el daño infligido. Hay gente mala y envidiosa que maltrata a gente buena y de vibra positiva tratando vanamente quitarle su felicidad. Esto lo que genera es repudio total por quien es agredido y aquellos presentes. ¿Como podríamos amar a alguien que reparte odio y maldad? Esta persona anti-social quedará condenada a una vejez sola y triste.

Creo en Dios y no le tengo miedo al futuro. Hacer el bien te garantiza que se te hará el bien, tarde o temprano, siempre en Orden Divino. He sentido la presencia de Dios, especialmente en momentos de dificultades y peligro. Creo en Ángeles y creo en gente buena. Dios me envío a un hogar lleno de amor y respeto. Tengo buenos amigos y una vida balanceada y privilegiada, no por lo material, sino por la gente que tengo en mi vida.

No necesito ir a la Iglesia regularmente a llenar una lista de asistencia y cumplir obligadamente con el diezmo para los intermediarios. Rezo en mi casa, la oficina, cuando manejo, cuando descanso, en fin, en todo momento. Hay gente que va todos los días a la Iglesia y después de años aun no creen en Dios. Tan pronto salen de la Iglesia, se quitan la máscara y continúan con su maldad.

Odio los prejuicios por descriminación por raza, religión, nacionalidad, genero, nivel económico, política, orientación sexual, etc.. Realmente a mi nadie me hará cambiar quien soy, lo que quiero, lo que creo y que me amo más que a nadie. Has tu lo mismo. Te lo recomiendo. Nadie puede hacerme sentir mal por lo peor que pudiera pensar de mi. Realmente solo me interesan aquellos que me agregan, con quienes tengo valores iguales, gente que me motivan a crecer y me hacen sentir bien de quien soy.

En resumen, a donde quiero llegar con todo esto es que nunca dejes que el éxito de otros te intimide o te desmotive. El hecho de que no seas perfecto no significa que no vales. Al contrario, tu grandeza vendrá de tu confianza en ti mismo y cuanto te quieras. Se gentil y generoso con los todos, en especial los ancianos y los niños. El hecho de que alguien te haya hecho daño no significa que debas repetirlo. No le tengas miedo al futuro, ya que el mismo siempre te traerá pruebas, pero también te dará recompensas. Eres hijo de Dios, y por ende siempre tendrás quien te cuide. Si crees realmente en Dios y te comportas en armonía a sus enseñanzas el nunca te desamparará. Nunca te limites a los que te digan los demás de que puedes y no hacer y ser. Esos límites solo te los puedes poner tú. Nunca andes hablando tus planes a menos que quieras que no se te den. Ten cuidado con la envidia, ya que esta anda por todas partes. Nunca debes explicarte ante nadie, ya que solo tú te puedes poner valor. Deja de pensar tanto y simplemente hazlo. Perdona a aquellos que te hagan hecho daño, ya que así te liberas de sus maldades. Nunca dejes sola a una persona indefensa, en especial si es abusada. Se un Angel de Dios siempre. Y goza tu vida.
