I do not need to be eloquent
or cite multiple quotes from the Bible to prove my faith for the Supreme Being.
God knows.
People always seek Him in times of hardship. Whether a miracle materializes or not, a
problem is solved or not, people tend to be more at peace after a prayer. Our
desperation and pain turns into hope and patience. Whether this moment is brief or
long lasting, we humble ourselves and seek for the light at the end of the tunnel. I
light a candle for just about everything and always in best wishes for those
surrounding me.
My belief is simple and not
uncommon to my peers. I believe in healthy habits, respectful conduct,
transparency and maintaining a clean conscience. I also believe in respecting ourselves and rejecting lack of respect brought upon us by others.
We all make mistakes. Some
like me have made countless mistakes, but the teachings are priceless. Mistakes
teach us valuable lessons. Overcoming failures teach us the value of success.
Everyone has defects, but they also carry treasures. Connecting with the
treasures and accepting tolerable defects makes us wiser and human.
Only God knows the path our
shoes have walked through. Everyone has a good story to tell. Everyone has something to teach us. Our failures teach us what to do differently, and our successes the rewards of persistence and sacrifice.
We are different. Our beauty lies
in our differences. Our differences are great sources of knowledge and personal
growth. We do not need to agree in
everything. We can agree to disagree.
Being closed minded stops growth.
Passing judgment is a human’s
greatest mistake and weakness. Many play God, but all fall short to His greatness. It is funny to watch people pass judgment on others when looking into the mirror. People pass judgment based on their reality. They cannot stand themselves. Ignore
them. They add nothing to you.
Do not raise your voice in an
argument. Screaming will not give you
the win. No one will listen. People simply will start to walk away. A good debate is enriching, regardless if people agree or not. A good debate is a healthy and respectful discussion.
Now and then come out of you
safety zone. Try a new dish of food. Visit a foreign land. Dance being
worriless on who is watching, sing like you are Celine Dion or Frank Sinatra,
and enjoy life in general. Come out of hiding and start living. The more
transparent you are to others, the more equals to you will you attract. Being a
fake will bring you unhappiness. Be you and never be intimidated by what others may say or think. Don't yield your space...... always stand your ground.

Today is the most important
day to set your goals and follow through. Know who you are, what you want, where
you are, where you want to be. Ask for directions and let people know things, but never ask for permission.
Say something always. Never let anyone silence you. Only you are worthy of expressing yourself. Being silenced is being shot down. Call people by their ways..... liar, cheat, dishonest, etc.. if you need to. Never forget to say thank you, love you, miss you to those thta are good to you.

Believe in yourself first,
before you can believe in others. Love yourself first, before you can truly
love someone else. Know yourself first, before you can understand others. Help
yourself first, so that you can best help others.
